one journey at a time.

My Journey

Born and raised in Mexico City—one of my favorite cities in the world! My extended family still lives there, surrounded by history, archeology, culture, architecture, and of course, incredible food. My school bus passed in front of a small pyramid every single day. I took that proximity to ancient cultures for granted until my family moved to the United States, but even then, my dream was to visit Japan one day.

As a young adult, I was blessed to spend about a year and a half living in Japan as a missionary, immersing myself in the Japanese language and its beautiful culture.

Living in three countries taught me the art of bridging differences—learning to see the world through multiple cultural lenses. Those experiences shape everything I do today as a travel specialist.

For over two decades, my family traveled extensively. Now that my children are adults, I'm grateful for every journey we took together. Through all our travels around the world, we were gathering memories that have become our greatest treasures.

Now that my kids are grown, I value our times together even more because I see them less often, but the memories, the experiences, the laughs and the pictures, are such a beautiful treasure. I hope that as our family continues to grow we will continue visiting incredible places here in the United States and all over the world.

My own global background makes navigating international travel second nature. As a bilingual specialist, I am proud to serve families and coordinate with travel suppliers in both English and Spanish.

I have loved ones and friends with autism, sensory, and mobility considerations, and I understand the stress and worry that can come with outings, gatherings, and travel. But I also know the incredible joy when a carefully-planned journey comes together, and your family discovers that the world is a wonderful place to explore.

That joy is what I bring to every family I work with. Through Gathering Memories Travel, I help people dream bigger, explore the world, and discover what's possible—with me as their travel designer every step of the way.

I became a certified travel specialist because I believe every family deserves to explore this beautiful world with someone in their corner who truly gets it. I design the journeys so families can focus on what matters most—the experiences and memories they'll carry with them long after they return home.

Every journey we design today is building something bigger for tomorrow.

Gathering Memories Travel officially opened in 2025 -- but the truth is, I've been having fun helping family and friends with their travel experiences long before that.

This is more than a business for me—it's the foundation for a legacy.

The Problem No One Talks About

When a child with autism turns 18, something devastating happens.

The programs disappear. The support systems dissolve. The safety net frays — and families are left asking one of the most frightening questions a parent can face:

"What happens next?"

This is known as "the cliff" — and it affects hundreds of thousands of young adults with autism aged 18 to 30 every single year. These are capable, worthy individuals whose potential goes unrealized simply because the infrastructure to support them does not exist.

We are building that infrastructure!

My Vision: Building Something Bigger

A portion of every journey booked through Gathering Memories Travel goes toward building a nonprofit with one single, critical mission:

To serve young adults with autism aged 18 to 30 — so that when they reach the cliff, there is a bridge waiting for them.
